There's a return to tradition with the takeover of The Hat & Tun pub by Tom and Ed Martin (owners of nearby pubs The Well and The Gun). And it's not just the name that has been restored - replacing Deux Beers with the original The Hat & Tun. The moniker is a combination of Sir Christopher Hatton, a favourite courtier of Elizabeth 1st and former owner of the land, and the word for a traditional cask holding 252 gallons of wine or ale. Traditional features include a darts board, open fires and antique stuffed animals so you may well be overlooked by a wild boar while enjoying your pint of London Pride.The Hat & Tun images
