Nambucca

Right in between Holloway Road and Archway tubes, Nambucca is in neither the most accessible, nor the most salubrious of locations. Looking on the bright side though - it's a pub oasis of live music and young faces in a desert of dives. There's live music every night at the weekend and sometimes week nights too. What looks like a rather empty, roomy pub, gets filled up with a crowd well up for dancing, jumping around and appreciating a good tune. It's all topped off with a rather neat old-skool pinball machine, Street Fighter 2 arcade machine and table football in case you get their early. Friendly atmosphere, oodles of loud live music, and, of course, beer. If you're in the area it's a fine alternative to Camden.
