Dimly lit and cosy, the Napoleon Bar is the main bar at Bistrotheque. It's dominated by a rather grand wooden bar and back bar created from a reclaimed wood panelled ballroom at Otterburn Hall in Northumberland. See if you can spot the Napoleon motifs hidden all over the bar - there's one in the House of Jazz designed carpet, carved on the bar and on the cut back bar mirror. The door policy is pretty democratic (except for hen and stag nights) and tables are on a first come first served basis so no reservations are possible. Downstairs there's an antique mahogany bar (perfect for a pre-dinner apperitif) and a cabaret room, which is a great place to catch some lively acts in a style reminiscent of the old school music hall tradition.
