If you ask your friends about this place, not many will know. It's not wildly off the beaten track either, situated directly opposite High Street Ken tube station. However, you might have missed the discreet doorway. The bar is total simplicity - a long white room with a bar and a piano at opposing ends, and tables in between. All the drinks are fairly standard in price and quality, but people come here for the atmosphere and music.
Owner Baz generally takes to the grand piano to charm the punters with his glorious, melodic finger-work. But patrons are not only encouraged to sing along, but can take their place on the stool and play the grand paino themselves. Intimate, candlelit, brimming with character, Piano Bar would be a great destination for a date.
