It might be true that The Grey Goose (formerly Smoke Rooms) belongs to the same family as every other bar in Clapham – after all, it’s all very minimalist bachelor pad-esque with wooden floors, leather sofas and arty photographs. But this formula seems to strike the right cord with the young professionals round this part of town, who flock to places like this to warm up for a night out; for a bite to eat off of the largely organic menu; even for a catch-up gin & tonic with friends on a Monday night. You’ll find a stylish bar with a chatty atmosphere and if you can bag the leather sofas then you’ll be probably be ensconced here for a good few hours. Clapham Comedy Club takes over the blue bar upstairs on the first Thursday of every month for a pre-weekend giggle.
