The BathhouseOriginally built as a Victorian Turkish Bathhouse, this one-storey building stands small next to its neighbouring City sky scrapers. But despite its diminutive one-storey stature, this listed building certainly stands out. Thankfully, much of the original interior opulence remains and the extravagent setting makes a perfect backdrop for the burlesque nights and golden birdcage DJ booth frequently featured at The Bathhouse. Go down the walkway by St Botolph's church, close to Liverpool Street Station and you'll discover this Victorian gem opposite the Heron Tower building site on Bishopsgate. Depending on the time of day or the night you visit you'll find a bar, a restaurant or a night of live entertainment, cabaret or clubbing. It certainly makes for a unique night out in the City.
