Situated on the banks of the River Thames opposite the magnificent Hampton Court Palace, The Albany makes good use of its prime riverside setting with a large outside decked terrace. You can even dock your boat here if you come via the river. If you're driving, however, just head outside Thames Ditton on Queens Road and you'll find this watering hole with gastro pub aspirations and a sailing club next door. The pub dates back to 1886 when it was home to a theatrical community who had been driven from London's West End.
