The Britannia offers a lovely view of Victoria Park - the long grassy space of the beer garden out the back actually borders the park. It's conveniently close to the park's cricket nets, if you're thirsty after bowling practice. And there's Franziskaner Weissbier, Guinness and Addlestones on tap. A jug of Bloody Mary comes highly recommended for those hungover Sundays. Accompany this with a huge slice of medium-rare beef, some crispy goose fat potatoes and a jug of piping hot gravy. The mix of red chesterfield sofas, church benches, green walls makes for an appealing, laid back interior where you can listen to the jukebox tunes. Overall a great place to come for a chilled drink after a walk in the park.
