A well-stocked games cupboard, good gastropub food, a couple of open fires for warming up on chilly evenings, a number of outdoor benches for chilling out on warm evenings, cheery bar staff and a lively yet never overly-crowded atmosphere make this Islington local a sound option. Its location on a residential street parallel to Upper Street make it a good choice for those wanting to escape the relentless throng that typifies this part of Islington. Not worth trekking across London for but a safe bet for those in the area.
