Beer is the draw here, over 100 different bottled kinds from all over the world squeezed into the compact space (said to be the smallest bar in London). It's not just the volume of beer that's the attraction. The guys behind the bar really know their draught from their elbow. They have long been selling the hops and water extract from their Utobeer stall in nearby Borough Market. As you'd expect, Austrian and German varieties are here in abundance, including the the strongest beer in the world - the Austrian Samichlaus. But there's also less obvious brews from Australia, Corsica and Argentina, even Indonesia and Mozambique. Local suppliers include an award-winning perry from Somerset (made from pears). It's a beer lovers' delight.
