Where the Bushranger used to be we now have The Stinging Nettle, a far superior upgrade to what was there before. Improvements start with a plush refit with decor including gilt framed mirrors, chandeliers and floral wallpaper. Gone are the TV screens exclusively showing sports matches. Instead you get a Wii machine available for hire in the room upstairs where private cinema screenings are held on Monday nights. Further welcome additions are the roof terrace - though the view of Goldhawk Road tube station is not the most scenic - and quiz night on Wednesday nights at 8.30pm. New owners Youngs have also put in a wide range of beers and wines including Deuchers IPA and a reasonably priced all day menu.
