With 220 acres of green space, Clapham Common has often been associated with young professionals who sip champagne and eat salmon out of their wicker picnic hampers. In fact, the park is as diverse as it is vast. Crammed with kite flyers, joggers, cyclists and children it is one of the most popular spaces in south London. Famed for its annual music gigs and festivals it is transforms into an even more vibrant destination in the summer. After a day soaking up the sun on the grass it's only a short walk to the string of bars and restaurants that line the common.
