Based in Gabriel's Wharf on the South Bank, the prestigious company has been offering high quality bike tours for a number of years. The Central London Tour takes in all London's main sights, such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St Paul's Cathedral - and is conducted in seven different languages (English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese). The West London Tour will take you along the Thames, through Westminster, past Buckingham Palace and into Hyde Park - with a foray into Soho and some of the main shopping areas. The East London Tour takes you past the Globe Theatre, the Tower of London and out to the Jack the Ripper haunts in the East End. The London Bicycle Tour Company also offer Night Tours and Olympic-themed tours. Bikes and helmets are provided and you can choose from mountain bikes and more traditional models. With experienced, knowledgeable guides it really is an energetic and fun way to get to know this vast city. Both tours are nine miles in length, so you might even burn some calories too.
