Palewell Pitch & Putt Golf Course

Pitch and putt offers both a great place to learn and a laid-back alternative for those who can’t be bothered with all the posturing surrounding traditional golf clubs.

Set in parkland adjacent to Richmond Park Palewell pitch and putt gives you the opportunity to roam some peaceful green ground. A round of golf and breath of fresh air, yet not too far from central London.

The course isn’t the most extensive – it only has nine holes, averaging 90 yards in length – but it’s attractive, peaceful setting makes up for it. The full size greens are a bonus for those wanting to sharpen their putting prowess.

All the equipment you’ll need is available for hire and there’s none of this elitist ‘no sharing clubs’ business. Unless you’re in a group of eight or more there’s no need to book. Play starts at 10:00 weekdays and 9:00 weekends and goes on till the light fades.
