Excellent fencing courses for beginners with Olympian coaches, good facilities and years of experience teaching this ancient, noble sport. Fencing is very good fun and also one of the best workouts you can give yourself. It's also highly addictive and Swash & Buckle are the best instructors in London for discovering the joy of swordsmanship.
Beginner courses cost £125 for 10 weeks, time enough to become reasonably good. The Victoria address is used for Foil Fencing on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Swash and Buckle also run a sabre course on Thursdays in Westminster. Please contact them for further details.
Fencing is a brilliant way to get fit. It's also dashing, difficult but very good fun from the first moment you pick up a sword. LondonTown.com recommends Swash and Buckle as one of the most experienced and professional teaching outfits in the world.
