This imaginative vegetarian/vegan restaurant strives to deliver nutritional delicious dishes without causing damage to the environment or to your health. Since opening their doors in 2004 this West Kensington eatery has been consistently producing quality vegan and vegetarian food for the health conscious masses. 222 Veggie Vegan is run by Ben Asamani, an experienced chef with a real passion for nutrition. He has created an imaginative menu which veers away from the bland reputation vegan food has encountered over the years. Pick from inspired dishes such as raw pumpkin noodles with fresh coconut and tangy lime sauce or their signature seitan stroganoff with creamy cashews. The food is complemented by the strong range of organic wines and freshly squeezed juices. Not content with their 100% adherence to all things vegetarian and vegan, they also strive to be as green as possible. Even the walls in this relaxed cafe/restaurant are decorated with environmentally friendly paint. Keen to spread the appreciation for all things vegan, they now offer cooking classes and nutrition discussions to encourage people to enjoy the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. They also offer outside catering for private parties and are particularly attentive to any dietary requirements.
