The stalwart exterior of the 3 Monkeys is a contrast to its boldly-lined purple and white-themed cavernous interior. One is introduced into the simple but elegant dining area by means of a bridge that peers over the diners and exposed wine cabinet in the level below. The only giveaways of the cuisine are the Indian-themed hangings on the walls.
The large open-concept kitchen churns out dishes of traditional and modern contemporary Indian cuisine that encompasses all regions and techniques of the Indian continent. This affords a non-typical Indian menu selection and plenty of room for the chefs' creativity. However, this non-specialization and ingenuity can at times result in mediocre food.
