Visitor Information
An excellent authentic Syrian restaurant. It?s cheap and the d?cor isn?t up to much but don?t let that fool you, there?s some skilled hands at work in the kitchen. The staff were a joy, very friendly and sympathetic about our lack of knowledge. Many of the items are standard Middle Eastern fare like mezze and grilled lamb, but cooked very well indeed. One thing we would never have dared try was billed on the translated menu as ?meatballs in milk.? It was superb. Abu Zaad provides cheap eats of the finest type, exciting and delicious.
