Start off with some delicious antipasti - options range from ribollita Toscana (mix vegetables with Swiss chard cabbage soup) and vegetali con scamorza gratinati - grilled veg including aubergine, peppers, courgette, fennel and celery with scamorza gratine and basil dressing. A side order of deep-fried courgette with parmesan and truffle oil is the ideal accompaniment to secondi of coniglio alla cacciatora - rabbit braised with rosemary, garlic and olives served with sauteed Swiss chard. A lovely local Italian in the quiet Connaught Street area which offers a welcome respite from the busy Edgware Road and the crowds of Marble Arch. Major sporting events are shown on a widescreen TV in the downstairs bar.
