London's Bethnal Green Road is jam-packed with fantastic ethnically diverse restaurants, and among the best of them is the Azka Mediterranean Meze. A warmly welcoming family run restaurant, Azka is strongly influenced by the Turkish background of its owners, the history and tradition of the country woven with the laid back, urban style of the East End of London. In addition to its main dining space, Azka Mediterranean Meze restaurant offers shisha, making it a popular meeting point for the younger Turkish community in the area as well as others looking for that authentic experience. Priding themselves on bringing together the best of Turkey's regional cuisine, the Azka Mediterranean Meze team use authentic herbs and spices and recipes passed down through the generations in a vibrant menu of ocakbasi cooked specialties. Serving food throughout the day and in to the night, Azka has a broad appeal, as well-suited to quick lunches with colleagues on a budget as to lavish meals later on.
