Casual and vibe-y, serving uncomplicated things like burgers and fishcakes along with Happy Hour cocktails, this branch of Balans has a good buzz in the day, and a great atmosphere at night, the 5am closing time making it a favourite Compton Street hang-out. Crowds often spill onto the street, especially in summer, and the large windows are excellent for posing and watching Soho go by. If, however, you want some privacy, the slinky dark interior is perfect for settling down into a hidden corner. Take care if you're arranging to meet someone at Balans Soho as there are two branches (the other is at 34 Old Compton Street).Balans - Soho images
