Bodo's Schloss is an alpine themed restaurant/nightclub that serves Austrian inspired culinary delights. Pine trees at the entrance are a sign of what's to come and once inside guests are greeted with a décor that's reminiscent of a cosy log cabin with wooden walls and chairs, checked tablecloths and animal print galore. Acclaimed Austrian duo Marco Reiner, founder of Reiner's Austrian Fine Foods and Franz Shinagl, previous Executive Chef at the St. Martin's Lane Hotel have helped Tom Parker Bowles to create an award-winning menu that brings old recipes to life. Diners can choose between a number of simple and hearty dishes such as schnitzels, dumplings, steak and goulash. Dessert continues the theme with a traditional Alpine cheeseboard and apple strudel among the options. From 10pm things start to get raucous in the restaurant when an old fashion disco, complete with bartenders in fancy dress and shots galore, commences until the early hours of the morning. The drinks menu offers all the standard spirits, along with some appropriately themed sharing drinks which see cocktails served in giant ski boots and bobsleighs.
