This likeable bar with two floors of restaurant above the noisy drinking area was an overpriced disaster when it opened, boasting seriously poor service, a smoky atmosphere and bad food that usually arrived cold. However, some sort of miracle appears to have been worked - it's now one of our top recommendations for Mexican in the capital.
The food is essentially Mexican witha few South American influences. Simple, honest but tasty fare is the order of the day, and although prices are still a little high they reflect the location in the heart of the King's Road area. Basically it appears that a new cook has come in and the staff have been properly trained up. A good bet for some high class Mexican in what is now a pleasant setting, and the bar downstairs is handy if you feel like dancing off a few pounds afterwards!
