If you're coming to the Lyric for a night at the theatre - or even if you're just passing Lyric Square - the Lyric Cafe is a lovely place to stop and refuel. The cafe includes an outdoor terrace with seating spilling onto the traffic-free square with its fountains spurting jets of water up out of the pavement. A market also crops up here on a weekly basis. The food is the usual cafe fare with paninis and salads, croissants and cakes accompanied by tea, soft drinks and coffee.
