The little sister of Caldesi, one of Mayfair's longest serving restaurants (now closed), this smaller caffe with a less formal atmosphere, chic music and (slightly) cheaper food is popular with shoppers and business diners. The charming staff and simple but well executed food make this a stand out favourite among the well-heeled Bond Street lunch crowd. The food is excellent, and the service attentive, but the most important thing about Caffe Caldesi is getting a seat near the street. It's less noisy and affords excellent people watching which elevates this from a merely pleasant to a truly entertaining dining experience.
Caffe and Bar: Mon to Fri 10am-11pm, Sat 9.30am-11pm. Closed Sun. First Floor Restaurant: Mon to Sat 12pm-3pm & 6pm-11pm (last orders 10.30pm). Closed Sun
