Crowds have been flocking to this restaurant for years to sample authentic African cuisine in the heart of the West End. The food is tasty indeed, with a wealth of vegetarian starters to get you in the mood. There’s also a good range of delicious African wines on offer. Be warned: main courses, served with plantains, yams and salads, are delicious but very filling. Long may Calabash continue to serve delicious food in such a friendly and efficient manner.
Notes:
Occasional, loud live music.
Good vegetarian options.
