Crowds have been flocking to this restaurant for years to sample authentic African cuisine. Calabash may have moved from King Street in the heart of the West End to East London but the food remains the same - and very tasty it is too, with a wealth of vegetarian starters to get you in the mood. There's also a good range of delicious African wines on offer. Be warned: main courses, served with plantains, yams and salads, are delicious but very filling. Long may Calabash continue to serve delicious food in such a friendly and efficient manner.
