Chapters All Day Dining in Blackheath is the sister restaurant to Bromley's Michelin-starred Chapter One, and a reincarnation of Chapter Two which used to occupy this spot. 'All Day Dining' as the name suggests means you get extended opening hours and food is served from 8am. More of a brunch or a steak lunch kind of place than the fine dining previously served up, the dauphinoise potatoes have been ditched for mashed and prices have come down. The team behind the scenes is still the same, however, and more gourmet options - foie gras and roasted quail - still feature. With Blackheath only a fifteen-minute journey from Charing Cross, it's a popular spot - and it can get very busy.
