The Chez Gerard chain's most impressive dining area has to be this 1930s Parisian style conservatory restaurant with an alfresco section that overlooks the Covent Garden main piazza. The glass-domed shelter ensures that every seat in this French brasserie receives its due amount of sunlight, resulting in an overwhelming demand for tables throughout the restaurant in the spring and summer. That said, the authentic French service can sometimes be faltered by the hectic atmosphere. The food is generally of average quality although Chez Gerard's steak frites are touted to be an essential. There is also always the reasonably priced French wine list.
