This Richmond riverside favourite serves a selection of unfussy Breton fare. Specialising in galettes, the crisp buckwheat pancakes of the region, filled with an array of tempting things, smoked salmon, roquefort or the traditional 'Complet' choice of ham and eggs, Chez Lindsay also boasts an extensive selection of Fruits des Mer and a good value set menu based on that other Breton staple, cider.
Simply presented and stubbornly unfashionable the food here is of considerable quality though vegeterians may struggle to find something suitable on the fish and meat-heavy menu. With a seating area veering towards the wrong side of the border between cramped and cosy it is the consistency of the cooking that keeps this place buzzing with locals night after night.
