Traditional beers, great selection of wines, new world and classic European favourites, open plan kitchen, modern well appointed bar offering a wide selection of premium spirits and digestives, imaginative cocktails and most important of all, a friendly welcome by a loyal team of dedicated managers, waitresses, and barmen, The Clissold has gain a unique reputation as one of the North London's finest gastro pubs. Led by executive chef, Reuben Gould, and his team of 5 chefs, the menu delivers a regularly changing roster of inventive dishes such as Homemade Game Terrine,Salmon's and Haddock Fishcake, Pea Puree, Poached Free Range Egg, Bearnaise Sauce, and a particular favourite on the desserts choice is the Lemon & Lavender Creme Brulee served with Homemade Biscotti.You can not talk about this pub without mention of Muswell Hill's most famous rock band "THE KINKS" ( Ray and Dave Davies lived across the road in Denmark Terrace) who performed their first gig at The Clissold in December.
