Fairtrade is the focus at this laid back coffee stop off half way up Goswell Road on the right if you are heading north towards Islington. It's one of five of Adrian's 'Coffee@' shops, the original being on Brick Lane (where there are two to choose from) and the latest has recently opened on Tower Bridge Road. It's a welcome break from the usual Starbucks. The fairtrade coffee is accompanied by food from local suppliers Hoxton Beach whose falafel wraps come highly recommended. This is the kind of local cafe that makes you want to while away a Sunday afternoon listening to DJ tunes while tapping out your latest novel on your laptop - you could even be fooled into thinking you're in New York.
