Colchis Wine Bar & Restaurant in London's trendiest Notting Hill is something new in the capital: a Georgian restaurant featuring the cuisine and wines of the Caucasus. This ancient land was the site of Jason's search for the Golden Fleece and is ripe with classic history. Since independence, the exuberant, hospitable Georgians have had the opportunity to reassert their culture, including the great traditions of their cuisine and viniculture. The menu features fine ingredients in traditional Georgian dishes, like khachapuri, khinkali and chakhokhbili, as well as mtsvadi or shashlyk - or grilled skewers -- with a choice of meat and a selection of dipping sauces. The design-led d?cor is all that you'd expect from gorgeous Notting Hill eaterie.
