With this the second branch of Comptoir Libanais Tony Kitous continues to bring Londoners affordable Lebanese cuisine, served up in a stylish setting. Following on from the first eaterie at the upmarket Westfield London shopping centre, this canteen, shop and deli on Wigmore Street brings the same mix of fun styling, bright colours and affordable eats to central London. This branch has a some wonderfully kitsch interior design - a Middle Eastern movie star watches over it the eat-in space from the large mural on the back wall - and a touch of the souk about it. There are embroidered bags from Marrakech as well as mezze, salads and wraps to choose from. Shelves are stacked high with specialist goods like dried fruits, sweets and spices, sold alongside freshly home baked man'oucha flat breads and traditional Lebanese pastries.
