Cottons is a slightly upmarket version of a traditional Caribbean restaurant. It’s still very informal, friendly in fact, and there’s plenty of music and laughter, but the meals are a little more exotic and slightly more expensive. However, the portions are massive and it’s still excellent value. The best dishes to go for are seafood when available, especially squid and snapper. Otherwise they do a mean curry. If you’re drinking you’ll find their cocktails extra special. This is a good bet for a really enjoyable evening and some excellent authentic cooking with a few sophisticated twists.
Notes:
Outdoor tables in summer.
Private dining for 20 – 40.
