- Visitor Information
- Opening Times
The children's play area at the back and the plethora of prams and parked up buggies quickly establishes that kids are welcome at Crumpet. Just as well too as this part of Clapham is often referred to as 'Nappy Valley'. Anyone with under fives will appreciate the spacious loo with ample room to accommodate nappy changing and nippers. There are kid friendly options on the menu like marmite on toast fingers and much of the locally sourced food is organic. Bread, scones and muffins come from the Lighthouse and ham is from Hennesseys - both nearby neighbours on the Northcote Road - while two local mothers make the cakes. Brownies, flapjacks and shortbread come from a cowshed in Dorset and lashings of ginger beer (very 'Famous Five') from a farm in Devon. Tea is an important part of the Crumpet experience - they even do their own blends from English Breakfast to Rooibos which are put together for them by tea merchants based in Blackfriars.Opening and closing times for Crumpet
