London is fast becoming a centre for ethnic food and at LondonTown.com that makes us very happy indeed. Restaurants should be about going out and enjoying a good meal. At times this means good, simple food quickly cooked and eaten in a lunch hour.
Hakasan, The Cinnamon Club and Momo are all great restaurants serving the finest cuisine, but sometimes you want something simpler and cheaper. Cumin is perfect. It's basically an Indian restaurant that works like an Eastern restaurant should (in the style of Wagamama) by having a big canteen-style room and serving meals very quickly. The food it serves is traditional fare. Well spiced curries, delicate lamb dishes and excellent, traditional naan bread. It might not win Michelin stars, but it tastes good and satisfies.
For those who like good food that they can enjoy quickly, this is the perfect restaurant. Next time you're loaded down with shopping at the O2 centre, Cumin is the place to go to for a break and a meal.
