The ground floor of this Marriott hotel offers its diners an evocative spot to enjoy super-fresh fish and seafood straight from Billingsgate Market. It's a great sweep of a dining room, where high windows give every diner a view out across West India Quay. There are meat and vegetarian options, and you can just nip in for a Martini at the long bar, but the real fun to be had here is with the catch of the day - which you can have prepared however you like - a fine range of fruits de mer, and some hearty American dishes like clam chowder and surf 'n' turf. In summer, the windows come open, and there are also tables outside, so you can catch the sea air rolling in from the Thames estuary.
