Established in 1974, Efes is a well-loved institution with locals, offering great Turkish food at extremely affordable prices. It's popular with journalists and celebrities whose photographs adorn the walls. The staff are friendly and many have worked their throughout the 20 years the place has been open. Efes has now expanded into two other locations but the original is still the best, offering a bit of history as well as robustly delicious Turkish fare at knock-down prices.
