Giuseppe Turi has been feeding the well-heeled people of Putney the authentic fine dining Italian experience since 1993. For the full gourmet gluttony try the gratinated artichoke hearts with herbed breadcrumbs, parmesan-coated deep-fried egg to start, then a pasta dish of home made orecchiette - native to Apulia where Giuseppe is originally from - and secondi of seared scallops. It'll set you back a bit and your waistline is likely to get as overstretched as your wallet but this is how the Italians do it. And if you are going for the full dining experience you really should try the Italian wines to go with it: there's an extensive list of more than 300 wines, 90 of which are specialist Italian varieties.
