This family run Turkish restaurant is a mix of Mediterranean cuisine with authentic Turkish dishes. They'll even add the traditional belly dancer if you want the authentic entertainment which traditionally comes with this style of cooking. The Mixed Meze is a good way to start things off, giving you a bite sized sample of several flavours in the tapas school of eating - these typically include humus, tabule, cacik, sasuka, bakla, tarama and falafel. Or opt for Hot Meze - köfte (minced lamb meatballs with herbs), borek (flaky pastry filled with cheese, meat, vegetables and/or herbs) and mucver (zucchini pancake). Mains include a selection of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes including classics such as mousakka, kleftiko, mushroom stroganoff and the Escale mixed grill.
