- Visitor Information
How simply delicious. A 1950s ice cream parlour in one of London's oldest department stores. Done up in candy pink and white stripes, you can sit at the ice cream bar and have all the Knickerbocker Glories you desire. Ices are homemade using ingredients from the store's famed Food Hall, known as the Queen's grocers since the days of Queen Charlotte. If your tooth isn't so sweet - or it's just too cold to consider ice cream - you can choose from open sandwiches, Viennese cakes or strudels while sipping on an indulgent hot chocolate. As part of the 2007 refurbishments by David Collins all designs, including this wonderful ice cream parlour, have been tastefully done and, thankfully, in keeping with the store's 300 year heritage. Beg, borrow or steal a willing child and share in the absolute pleasure of getting ice cream all over your face.Location map of Fortnum & Mason: The Parlour
