Just off Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of the West End, you'll find Franco's - one of London's most charming Italian restaurants. With its flickering candles, jars of olive oil and Chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling, this family-run eatery welcomes first-time diners like old friends and offers a warm and welcoming setting for any occasion. Franco himself is from the Emilia Romagna region of northern Italy so you can guarantee that everything on the extensive menu is made with authentic ingredients and traditional recipes. We love the classic scampi Provencale and veal Milanese, as well as specials like Salcicce con polenta - delicious Italian sausages in a rich tomato and borlotti bean sauce. Franco's prime location makes it ideal for lunch or a cosy pre-theatre dinner.
