A friendly, efficient deli-come-diner which serves a range of meals encompassing the cooking styles of the Middle East, Greece and Italy. The plastic menu photo-cards look like nonsense, with huge piles of delicious and colourful chicken and steaming soups, but if you order from that menu what you get is what you saw. The cheaper options are on a written menu and include several delicious pittas filled with lamb or vegetarian options. Cheaper still is the salad selection for three pounds fifty which you choose yourself from an enticing deli counter. The staff are friendly if slightly over-worked, and the place is full of noisy, happy people. Gaby's is great.
