With its enviable location opposite Clapham Common, Gigalum is a popular post-work hangout and a favourite amongst the locals. The sun trap of a front garden is busy all year round thanks to heaters and rain-proof parasols that keep things cosy, even during the winter months. Inside, the atmosphere's even hotter thanks to a fresh, modern decor and a young, well dressed crowd. There is an impressive selection of wines, spirits, shooters and cocktails on offer - guaranteed to lift your mood after a long day at the office. The food menu boasts dishes from around the world, such as paella with tiger prawns and chorizo; Asian chicken stir-fry; and Greek salad with chargrilled halloumi. At the weekend, they've got Sunday roasts and lazy brunches covered too.
