This latest branch of Konditor & Cook is the fifth outlet to open in London. Specialists in the creation of amazingly tasty cakes which are also sold on to some of the finest restaurants in the city, this store and adjoining café is a welcome addition to the Square Mile. Hungry city workers can sample delicious confections as well as savoury snacks and the on-site bakery means the food has that just-made freshness. Sponge cakes like the Curly Whirly chocolatey treat are among the best sellers and it'd be a shame not to sample Madonna's favourite - the Magic Cakes. Well they're just bite-sized and look so pretty, just the one then... Highly recommended.
