- Visitor Information
Coming from New York's 'Picholine' restaurant, chef Bjorn van der Horst is well versed in coming up with tempting dishes that keep Manhattan's fickle diners coming back. Arriving at La Noisette via the Greenhouse in Mayfair he's picked up some considerable expertise on the way. That's all in his favour as Sloane Street's local residents are just as temperamental as New Yorkers and equally as exacting. The choice of venue is a brave one as this uninspired first-floor space has a history of failures including one for Ramsay. Pengelley's was a former venture of his on this spot. But the food is the draw and van der Horst's clever cooking is highly regarded. It's a place for serious foodies tempted by such culinary delights as tomato foam source and a shot of artichoke veloute, if only the place wasn't so, well, downright dreary.Location map of La Noisette
