One of the most talked about new restaurants in London's Notting Hill, La Sophia is fast becoming the place to see and be seen. With its luxurious d?cor reminiscent of the North Africa of T.E Lawrence, Casablanca and Brideshead Revisited, La Sophia combines French sophistication with a touch of exoticism - parquet floors meet mother of pearl inlaid low tables, immaculate place settings are juxtaposed against rough hewn walls and light filters through gauzy curtains. With experience stretching from Canada to Tel Aviv via Germany, France and Holland, La Sophia's Chef-Owner has imbued his menu with a wide ranging international influence slotting in perfectly to the mainly traditional-with-a-twist French dishes.
