The café, Feast Your Eyes at Laban, at this landmark dance venue serves healthy bites in an award winning building for which architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron won the Stirling Prize for Architecture in 2003. Dance is both taught and performed at all levels at Laban and the café fuels students, performers and audiences alike, opening from breakfast throughout the day up until a pre-theatre dinner. The daily changing and seasonal choice of food includes ready made mixed salad pots, sandwiches and choices like roast vegetables with couscous or organic brown rice with sprouts and spinach in soy. Fair Trade, locally sourced and organic ingredients are used where possible. Certainly worth stopping by for a coffee, even if you're only coming along to see the spectacular Herzog & de Meuron building designed with help from artist Michael Craig-Martin.
