Opened in 1999, the Light House consistently cooks up some very good food considering it is a family friendly neighbourhood restaurant. A succinct but seductive choice of mains - with as few as five to choose from - might include baked seabass with wild garlic leaf mash, braised lamb shank with parsley mash or roast duck breast with truffled cauliflower purée. The extensive Sunday lunch menu - served between 12pm and 3pm - offers particularly good value at £14 for two courses and £17 for three.
