There aren't many Georigian-inspired restaurants in the capital which is one reason at least to visit this one. Another reason would be that it's really quite good. Bellinis, mezzes, Georgian rice pudding, borscht and lots of yummy dishes with aubergine in them are served up in a bright, if small, dining room - with a pleasant beachside feel to it thanks to the pale blue and white tongue-and-groove walls. You may be round the corner from Broadway Market and not the Black Sea but this is quite a trip for the tastebuds. Sadly it's not licensed at the time of writing but hopefully we'll see some suitably local tipples appearing on the drinks list before long. They also do takeaway.
